Damper seals from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies: Innovative damper seal for pneumatic cylinders
Damper seals are required in pneumatic cylinders. They form part of the design for controlled end position delay. Standard constructions comprising multiple components are frequently used for this purpose: A damper seal, O-Ring for static sealing and an elastomer stop washer. The mounting slot for the damper seal is either clamped or a mortised retaining washer is required.

This means that the Damp & Seal provides outstanding damping properties and fulfils all the required functions simultaneously: dynamic sealing for the damping pin and non-return valve function, static sealing for cylinder covers as well as mechanical damping in the end position. In comparison with traditional systems, this means considerably less work for purchasing, warehouse and logistics departments, significantly reduced machining work on cylinder covers, secure mounting and reduced space requirements, making the Damp & Seal damper seal ideal for very compact cylinders as well.
