Cassette & Combi Seals
The cassette seals consist of a Simmerring Oil Seal and an unlosable, integrated running surface. Thanks to the rational system solution with an integrated labyrinth, the complete unit provides high protection against impurities. In addition, the combination seals are particularly suitable for use with strong loads. In the process, the integrated running surface meets the special requirements placed on a dynamic seal. Additional advantage: The cassette and combination seals of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are flexible, allowing axial and rotary movements.

Cassette seals and combi seals: For use under high load
For decades, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies cassette seals and combi seals have been proven in practice with long service lives: in wind and weather, in any environment. They have been specially developed for use under high loads, as is necessary in the agricultural sector, for example. To this end, we rely on a combination of our proven and successful Simmerring and a captive counterpart. Thanks to the streamlined system solution with an integrated labyrinth, the complete unit provides maximum protection against impurities that only a system of this type can achieve. In the process, the integrated counterpart meets the special requirements demanded of a dynamic seal. In addition, the cassette and combi seals permit axial and rotational movements and are therefore extremely flexible.
Cassette and combi seals provide high protection against contamination
Cassette and combi seals from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are characterised by high reliability and long service life, even under the toughest conditions and high load. They consist of a patented Simmerring® and a captive counterpart.
The cassette seals are robust pinion and wheel hub seals with a dirt-repellent multi-labyrinth section and an integrated, finished seal running surface. The advanced and future-oriented design of the cassette seals combines numerous sealing elements in a single component, providing excellent protection against dirt and other contaminants. Bearings and rotating shafts are optimally protected, eliminating the need for additional dirt seals.
